Numba 1 Fan of fashion shoot styling

Did a bit of styling work for an up and coming jewellery label. We decided to use bright garments and contrasting lipstick shades to complement the gold jewellery. I also decided to use a slick back hair style and combat boots to create an edgy street look.

Here are some of my favourite snaps from the shoot!

Numba 1 Fan of teen Carrie Bradshaw - The Carrie Diaries

The best part of being a "20 something year-old" is being old enough to understand and enjoy watching  HBO's Sex and the City yet young enough to shamelessly love the brand new Carrie Diaries!

In it's first season, the Carrie Diaries follows the life of a 16 year-old Carrie Bradshaw before all the sex!

I've been impressed with the 'true to character' fashion of Bradshaw.

Here are a couple of my favourite Carrie outfits so far this season. Standout items include polka dot print pumps, rainbow waist belt, glasses print skirt and the infamous custom Carrie handbag!

Numba 1 Fan of sunglass accessories- the silver creations

I'm finally getting around to posting up a few snaps of the silver sunnylinks that I've been working on!

Numba 1 Fan of 90s comeback trends - part 2 bindi fashion

Traditionally bindis are said to be a symbol of the third eye- energy, strength and concentration as well as a protection from demons or bad luck.

The 90s saw many strong famous women wearing bindis including my 90s fashion icon Gwen Stefani.

I have No Doubt (pardon the pun!) that the 90s brought about new symbolism to the bindi- empowerment, self-awareness and, of course, a sign of being a super chic hipster!

The comeback has begun as seen on celebrities such as Katy Perry and Khloe Kardashian.

They have also been featured in Jeremy Scott's Fall 12 launch and in the first issue of Super Nasty (Nasty Gal biannual publication).

Here are a couple of my attempts of incorporating bindis in my fashion looks!
